The most decorated Olympian of all time has been very candid in recent months about his mental and emotional state of mind since retiring.

Former AIS sports psychologist Jeff Bond said on Macquarie Sports Radio a lot more has to be done for our elite athletes. “We aren’t defined by what we do. We are defined by so much more.”

Former AFL player and current Gold Coast Suns Development Coach Shaun Hart said, “It’s a very real issue with more people in sports than you realise.” Shaun has founded ID Sports Australia which is seeking to tackle the issue head-on from a Christian world-view.
